Prins has an extensive background in writing and content creation across various mediums. As the
head writer for the Savanna Comics Choice Comedy Awards Ceremony in 2019, he played a pivotal role
in shaping the comedic tone and overall narrative of one of South Africa's most prestigious comedy
events. His creative talents extend to advertising, where he contributed as a team writer on
notable campaigns, including Telkom Summer, a popular radio ad campaign, and an insurance campaign
with King Price.
In his role as director of Comedy View Pty (Ltd), Prins served as a copywriter, blog writer, and
web content creator, steering the company’s creative direction. His versatility in writing is
further demonstrated through freelance work spanning creative writing and scriptwriting across
various projects from 2015 to 2024. In 2018, he contributed his comedic flair as a scriptwriter for
the Wedding Bashers TV Series, focusing on humor development.
Prins has also made significant contributions to the Telkom 4 Me Radio and Telkom Knockout Summer
Campaigns (2018). His television appearances include high-profile platforms such as his comedy
special "Unnecessary" on Showmax (2020), "Nationwild with Trevor Noah" on Showmax & MNET (2018 &
2019), and "Funny People Africa" on Showmax (2019). His work has been featured on KykNet, DSTV,
Mzansi Magic, SABC 2, and ANN7, among others.
Additionally, Prins was a writer and guest on a sports parody show on ANN7 (2016) and played a
significant role as an audience warm-up artist for the grand TV show "Dancing With The Stars SA" on
MNET in 2018. His work reflects a dynamic blend of humor, creativity, and a deep understanding of
diverse media, making him a sought-after talent in
the entertainment industry.
