Marjorie Langa is an acclaimed South African actress, voice artist, MC and entrepreneur with a career spanning television, film, streaming productions and live events. Best known for her iconic portrayal of Gloria on Scandal!, she has earned a reputation as one of South Africa’s most versatile and respected performers.
Her natural authenticity, warmth and commanding screen presence have made her a favourite with audiences and a trusted talent within the industry.

Screen Career

Throughout her distinguished career, Marjorie has appeared in a wide range of television dramas, soap operas and feature films. Her extensive credits include Scandal!, Streets of Mangaung, Final Verdict, Generations, House of Love (Die Huis van Liefde), Tshisa, City Sesla, Isidingo and Jozi Maboneng. She also appeared in the feature film Blitz Patrollie, portraying Police Commissioner Georgina.
More recently, Marjorie has continued to captivate audiences with standout performances as Khutso in Netflix's How to Ruin Love, Lele in Divorced at 50, and Dipuo in Sterring. These roles further showcase her exceptional versatility and ability to bring authenticity and depth to every character she portrays.
Originally trained in Biomedical Sciences, Marjorie followed her passion for storytelling and performance, successfully transitioning into a flourishing career in entertainment. Her talent and dedication were recognized with a SAFTA Nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Soapie in 2015.
Fluent in Sepedi, Sesotho, Tswana, Zulu, English, Afrikaans and conversational Xhosa, Marjorie is able to connect effortlessly with diverse audiences.
