All round entertainer and witty, if Lihle Msimang wore any more hats she’d be a Dr. Suess character.

Born and raised in Meadowlands, Soweto, this rising start started her journey in 2011, after having won the Nando’s comedy showdown. Which saw her performing with comedy heavyweight Mark Curry (Hanging with Mr Cooper for the people in the back)
Fully equipped with a BA Degree in Motion picture and Live performance, Lhihle knows all the ins and outs of how to make a product and performance great.

After taking on comedy full time in 2015 she became what is now a clear trailblazer in her field.
She has performed in prestigious comedy events such as Blacks only, MaCufe comedy, Laugh in Your language and Goliath comedy Experience to name but a few.

Not only is she a national treasure, Lihle has also performed in neighbouring countries such as Zimbabwe, Botswana and Lesotho. Well-traveled in her career, Lihle graced international stages such as the Broadway Comedy club and New York Comedy Club as well as the Top Secret Comedy Club in London.

But wait there is more… skilled in both acting and voice over work, Lihle has appeard on several TV screens across the country. Along with being heard by many radio stations.

She played the role of Kay, a nyaope kid in Zabalaza; Lwando, an estranged actress on a short film called Mime Artist and Dimakatso, a beauty queen that bleached her skin to fit in. All while being the face of award winning ad campaigns such as Cadbury 5 Star, Obey your mouth and the Ford Focus, Adulting campaign.

One cannot being to count the number of radio ads Lihle had done, including being a radio co-host on UJfm. And later on Massive Metro.

Her one woman show called “Matemtem”  was a great success on tour, all about her upbringing life journey as a whole.
